Stephanie practices law in the areas of estate planning and administration, business law, and elder law. As part of these practice areas, Stephanie works with clients to create their estate plans; administers trusts and probates estate; prepares federal and Oregon estate tax returns; advises clients on the optimum choice of entity forms limited liability companies and drafted operating agreements; and handles guardianship and conservatorship proceedings. Stephanie is a National Certified Guardian (NCG).

Stephanie Carter also serves as a fiduciary at Pegasus Fiduciary Services, LLC, a business created by the attorneys at Draneas & Huglin, P.C. to administer trusts and estates by serving as trustee, conservator or personal representative.

Prior to attending law school, Stephanie served as an Associate Dean at Centralia College. As such, she directed library operations and coordinated distance education.

Stephanie serves on the board of Elders in Action and on the Tigard Library Board as an alternate member. She is currently co-President of the Lake Oswego Branch of the American Association of University Women. Stephanie formerly served on the Community Service Committee of the Multnomah Bar Assocation's Young Lawyers Section.
